To create Curved text in QCAD, go to the menu Misc _ Draw – Text Along Entity
The normal QCAD text entry form will appear.
Enter the font, text height, simple test = checked, Angle 0
Select base center alignment.
Click ok
The command bar says “ select entity”. Click on the arc or circle that
you want the text to appear on. The text will now stay attached to that
entity. Click on the reference point at the 90 degree position.
If placed on the bottom, the text will be upside down.
There is no provision for right side text on the bottom.
This results in each letter as a text entity, each one with
base center alignment, rotated to match the curve.
