Kool Mist formula 78 coolant concentrate, 1 gal
An environmentally friendly water soluble oil. It performs 2 functions. Cooling and lubricating the cutter so that aluminum does not stick to it as it is cutting.
Your coolant should be changed every 3 – 6 months. It is safe to dispose of this coolant in a municipal drain system. Never ever run water only. It will provide the cooling, but no lubricant and water splashed on bearing rails will cause corrosion.
Kool mist is non staining. However the water you mix with it very likely is, so rinse your parts in clean water to remove the oily film, then dry.
