Description
The Placard jig quickly squares and holds precut placards for engraving the interior of pre cut placard blanks. It has a fixed square reference on the left edge which is used to establish x zero and and the bottom edge to establish Y zero and movable edges on the top and right to hold placards in place.
The bottom edge of the plate rests against the Panel Pro frame rail for easy squaring to the Panel Pro.
The left and lower edges serve to locate x and y zero.
This is not suitable for cutting interior holes as the edges of the fixed and movable clamps have square edges and will not restrain the placard from lifting up. The engraver nose will hold the engraved material down and the laser does not have any lifting tendency.
It can engrave to 1/2 of the engraver nose diameter (.125 or .156) from the edges, or right to the edges with the Laser.

Includes 2 clamps for the Y axis and 1 reversable clamp for the x axis. Usually just 2 are used. The clamps will allow slight inaccuracies in squareness of the stock.
