An elegant and functional method of attaching a tow bar.
The nose wheel pant is held on by a 3/8 x 24 screw or bolt. This is normally extended to form a place to hook a tow bar on to. If this is done with a bunch of washers, you are left with a bolt head sticking out of a bunch of washers. Ugly and poor fitting.
A 3/8 socket screw head is about 1/2″ diameter. It is too small for a close fit to most tow bars. This stainless steel tow bar pin surrounds the head of a stainless steel socket head screw to better fit into a fairly standard 5/8″ tow bar hole. they come as a pair.
