Description
This is a special end mill made for cutting curved adapters that match a flat antenna base to a curved surface such as a fuselage or a tail boom.
A normal ball end mill has a radius the same as 1/2 the diameter of the end mill. This end mill has a curved radius of 3/4″, the curved adapters are cut with a series of straight lines that are offset from each other. other than having the offsets ridiculously close together, it will leave small scallops. The larger radius reduces the scalloping effect.
